Anyone serious about cooking knows cooking with gas is the way to go. But we have to applaud Hotpoint for their compact, feature filled Creda Collection - Concept 50cm Electric Double Oven. We currently cook using a vintage space saving gas stove, but we admit this newfangled cooking appliance's multiple cooking options has evoked a bit of envy: the top oven heats conventionally while the main oven uses circulaire fan cooking (a process that supposedly reduces cooking time by 20% and allows for cooking at 10 - 20 C lower than a conventional oven). We're just disappointed it doesn't come in a gas flame stovetop version (you'll have to settle for 2 fast heat plates) or we'd considering updating. [via Appliancist]
