Just when we finally decided on the color for our new KitchenAid Mixer (we were thinking "Majestic Yellow"), along comes JENN-AIR and their Attrezzi mixer ($359.99). Now we're back to square one.

The color selections are crazy, modern, and vast. The glass bowls come in both subtle clors and wacky designs, which should make holiday baking that much more fun.

And they don't work for sh*T. Go with the KitchenAid and get the industrial one as the motor doesn't burn out as fast.
I love my KitchenAid. After years of burning out one hand mixer after another, i got one (cobalt blue!). It's a pleasure to use: quiet, powerful and good looking. My friend Kristie told me that she had a friend who inherited her g'ma's KitchenAid which works like a champ. Go with the KitchenAid.

The styling of these mixers looks confused. It is supposed to be hi-tech but looks like it wants to be in the Dark Ages.
My Braun mixer designed in 1957 and included in the permanent collection at MOMA is almost 50 years older than these Attrezzi mixers but looks more fresh and timeless than anything that is out there, and I got it for $8.00 at Goodwill in the Valley.
Last week I purchased a Jenn-Air Attrezzi. There is a recipe I want to prepare for sourdough bread that calls for a five quart container. I cannot find anywhere in the literature the size of the mixing bowl. Can you help me.
The Attrezzi line has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Contact Jenn-Air/Maytag & they should give you a refund on your purchase. Apparently they have had many problems with this mixer.
