Philips AirTree

air-tree.jpgWe just recently touched upon the subject of air purifiers for the home, so excuse us for repeating ourselves. But how refreshing is this air purifier and humidifier from Philips' New Simplicity, a conceptual line of home products?

Very cool! Is this the production piece or a conceptual model? Also, will this product be available in the US?

The Simplicity line is all conceptual, with the hopes of bringing some of the products to market in 3-5 years.

If you crack open the newest issue of Wired, there's a small insert magazine from Philips showing some other amazing items like a video globe and touch sensor mirrors!

Stuff like this is a big tease... That's one of the reasons I stopped reading Surface magazine: too many product spotlights on conceptual pieces and student works that will never see production or US distribution.
