Charley Harper Prints

Ever since we posted about Todd Oldham's photography portfolio, we've been trying to find out the source of all of those magnificent prints hanging up in practically every photograph! Thanks to AT reader spinsLPs, we now have a new artist obsession: Charley Harper.

We love his "minimal realism" style and how it translates in his wildlife illustrations. Some interesting factoids: Harper created a few posters for the United States National Park Services; and December 8, 2006 was declared "Charley Harper Day" in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Also to note is this exhibition of some original Harper works on paper opening February 23rd in Cincinnati at the Country Club gallery.

I own 8 Charley Harpers and have collected them over the years. The last one I purchased was from Gallery One several months ago. From what the gallery told me, they have a relationship with Charley's son. I found them to be reputable.

The Estate of Charley Harper has just launched their own website at CharleyHarperArtStudio.com. Its got just about every Harper Print available!

Hi, this is Terry. Ever since a trip to Costa Rica, where we saw Charley's Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve poster, we have been Huge fans! Recently have worked closely with Charley Harper Art Studio to launch another retail site which includes many Charley Harper items and lovely images.
