Instead of the same color frame for each print, we like to mix it up. Something old paired with something new always makes the design much more interesting. Even bringing in the smooth texture of a plate positioned next to painted plywood reads refreshing and fun. To unify the space, a pair of identical plates were used to provide balance. Sticking to a color palette of black, white, blue and green keeps the look cohesive while allowing us to experiment with texture and placement. A green vase filled with our drum stick collection adds a bit of playfulness and symmetry to the area.
