Based here in Los Angeles, Heavy Metal describes themselves as "an anonymous arts organization of architects, artists, and urban planners. Heavy Trash creates large, temporary art objects that draw community and media attention to specific issues..." Their latest piece is entiteld "Forever Landfill." Making a statement regarding waste and our consumerism,they've created an imaginary company that is a "private, residential refuse disposal service that allows you to secure your own landfill plot and ensure your trash receives a proper home now and in the future..."
