I (currently, a DC Metro Area resident) do miss my hometown of LA, including its various interconnected cities. Most everyone I know who has visited L.A. from the East for a brief vacation or who have very recently moved there tell me that they hate it.

BUT, most of those who have moved to LA and toughed it out for at least a year tell me that they love it. It's a city that just takes a while to get used to and to make new friends, especially if you don't already have social contacts there.

as beautfiul as the manhattan and brooklyn ones (oh that limited ed. yellow one was awesome). hope they make a madrid map soon....

Do they take requests? I would definitely buy a Philly poster.

Yes, I'd like to request a San Diego poster! I might get the LA poster just because I lived there for so long, and I love maps, but both places I lived in the LA area aren't on it.

Oddly, the entire South Bay and Long Beach have been obliterated, like mythical lands only dreamed about. There be dragons!

I think that Long Beach and South Bay are their own cities. This seems like a map of just the City of LA. not LA County. I LOVE Los Angeles and am contemplating buying one of these for everyone I know.

Now just waiting for that San Jose poster.. woot!

I picked up a Chicago and LA one after I saw them in Chicago. For those considering getting one, just keep in mind that these prints are BIG. Printed on nice stock paper

As chusmabilly stated, this is for the city of Los Angeles, not the county. The county one would be much larger. And damn, I'd love a county one because, yes, it would include Long Beach.

Santa Monica is not in the City of Los Angeles, and it made it to the poster. She said, petulantly.

Bought the boyfriend the Chicago one in red. It looks fantastic in his grey and black bedroom.

i bought one of the orange ones a month or so ago as well. it looks great in the brushed aluminum frame that i got for it from target. despite having lived in la county for all my life, i realized upon closer inspection that i've never lived or gone to school in any of the places depicted on this map. oh well, it still looks awesome.
