
Sometimes you find that something special for the home in the least expected circumstances. Attending my first Comic-Con this past weekend, I was versed in the expectations of spying various unusual, if not impressive, costumed attendees, a huge cache of unique toys and collectibles, and of course, an overwhelming amount of glorious printed matter. But the last thing on my mind was to find something for the home that could be displayed without the defesnive disclaimer "it's a collectible!". While perusing the bustling and crowded aisles of the San Diego Convention Hall, I found myself at the Fleet Street Scandal booth staring at the works of Chris Turnham and knew I had found my first show purchase*.











These are really quite nice. What I find most interesting, though, is how many of them seem to be based on Decemberists songs... Won me over...
