Sixspace Gallery is presenting the debut solo exhibition in Los Angeles of artist Karin Weiner, with a show entitled, So Many Daunting New Complexities. The pieces in this exhibition will feature a large scale tornado installation made of craft/fiber materials and a new series of collages. The collages in the show depict "various dissected and re-arranged situations and speculations about the future (whether that be utopian and/or apocalyptic)... This new body of work stems from her recent move from the urban environment of New York, to the natural landscape of Vermont."
