This weekend we finally got around to taking down measurements for all the art prints we've had stored away over the past year or so; it's always been on our "to do" list to get them all framed, but it always somehow got pushed back because of "this" or "that". Sunday we made "one day soon" a reality and framed five of our Moira Hahn, Saelee Oh and Chris Turnham prints with some fairly affordable frames. I can't believe we waited so long. It was totally worth making the trip over to the frame store and properly encasing the artwork, and now we can help but keep staring at our newly decorated walls.

Where did you get them framed? I've got a friend that's been storing her Shag prints for years because she's too lazy to get them framed. I'd love to give her an LA recommendation.

Oh yes please do tell where you got affordable framing. The prints look great--can you post pics of where you put them up?

One thing to consider when framing is to make sure the glass/plexi is uv resistant and the matt and anything else touching your print is acid free. Theres nothing worse than a print that has yellowed.

goldtoof: very good points. My girlfriend works at the Getty Library and while framing these pieces, she busted out her little tool kit of archival quality, acid free materials for the reasons you mention. And I just placed an order for UV blocking window film to protect our art, books and furniture, hopefully guaranteeing a long life free of UV damage.
