Vintage Inspiration from East Side Show Room!
Austin

081609eastside-01.jpg There's a new bar, restaurant, and gallery that's opened up on the East Side of Austin, and its uniquely designed interior features inspiring details...

081609eastside-02.jpg The East Side Show Room was started by the creative team of Mickie, Trudy and Mindie Spencer. Designed to be a gallery to showcase art and cultural entertainment, this restaurant and bar will always showcase the unique furniture and lighting designs of Mickie Spencer, an interior and industrial designer with a very one-of-a-kind style. Permanently on display, her furniture and lighting pieces serve as prototypes for sale, and act as a perfect backdrop for the fabulous vintage/1920s atmosphere of the interior of this space. Filled with a mix of antique and industrial details, you'll want to visit this new East Side location for its great design, but you'll want to stay for their vintage cocktails and their locally sourced gourmet food.

I live next to here and have been watching these women work hard for over a year to renovate and create this place. They have done an amazing job. The creativity they have shown has made made this a wonderful place. I have had drinks and eaten here a number of times and is has been great each time. The women and their staff are so welcoming that it feels like family. If you are in Austin or come to visit, please check out the East Side Show Room.

ps. thanks for using my photos. I will have more soon from my dinner there last Saturday.
