MJ Neal’s Wolfe Den, which we’ve covered before on Apartment Therapy, has won awards and is one of the homes on the upcoming AIA Austin Homes Tour. A great project designed by Nicole Blair of Studio 512 is also in this issue, and you might recognize this East Austin duplex because we covered our love of its exterior colors before on Apartment Therapy.
Finally, you can also see some information about a great Dick Clark Architecture designed condominium project in the South Congress area of Austin called the ’04 Lofts. This building, placed thoughtfully in its surroundings (in other words it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb), is one of the most unique looking condo structures we’ve ever seen, and is certainly fitting for the neighborhood it resides in. More than just pretty pictures to look at, you'll want to check out these homes and structures for their innovative green ideas as well as fresh takes on the modern look.

I was just in Austin this weekend reading that issue of Dwell. Austin is a city of really nice progressive architecture. There are a lot of smart fun folks doing good things there. *cough*AT Austin*cough*

I took a few pictures of the same loft/apartment bulding probably a month a go. There are few cool houses in the same neighborhood, I really love that part of the town.
