We look for home decor inspiration everywhere we go in Austin, and luckily usually find some. With all this talk about Fall colors, we've been keeping our eyes especially peeled for great uses of color in spaces. We found it in the lobby of the downtown Hilton Hotel...

We just loved this muted yet bold red with the splashes of gold paint color chosen for the walls. This red acts as both an exciting color yet a relaxing choice! If you've been looking for ways to add a bit of Eastern influence in your own home without going overboard, we suggest a trip to this lobby. This space is a beautiful mix of Eastern ideas and Western influences and is put together quite elegantly.

My friend had her wedding at the Hilton in Southlake (by Dallas) and interior design was absolutely beautiful and inspiring, from the lobby to the bedrooms. It's very modern, but elegant and classic as well. The one above looks a lot darker and more "southwest", but I've never been inside.

I stayed there a few years ago and wondered about that fantastic tree shaped table, but I was never able to discover where it was from.
