Wow, that reminds me of a treehouse that my little brother and his friend built. It was quite sturdy, and was great for hiding away stuff that you didn't want mom to find.

Cool treehouse, but I hope they have ladder other than those five planks nailed against a 25-foot expanse of tree trunk. That looks impossible to climb.

If you are agile enough to make it up the trunk, next you have to figure out how to get into the house w/o losing you footing. Having just done this at a friend's house in Venice, this is not as nostalgically fun as it looks.
PS. The inside of open treehouses are usually a mosaic of animal poop, spiders, webs and other bits of nature. Now I undertsnad the meaning behind the Keep Out! Enter at your own risk! signs
