Inspiration: D-CRAIN Landscape Photographs!
Austin

101608dcrain-01.jpg Austin exterior design is a heady mix of funky succulents, geometric shapes and modern details. With the Fall weather making Austin residents spend the better part of their days outdoors, we wanted to post about an amazing landscape company in Austin creating ultra inspiring yards. Somehow pushing the limits of design yet staying true to Austin's style, these images from D-CRAIN landscape design build will motivate you to update your own outdoor spaces this fall...

101608dcrain-02.jpg While most homeowners won't have the budget for the sorts of lofty projects taken on by this company, there are certainly details that can inspire your own home DIY backyard renovations. We spotted these grass stairs in this photo of a project created by D-CRAIN. Many homeowners forget about the possibility of creating levels in their backyard spaces and these covered grass stairs are a great example!

101608dcrain-03.jpg We loved the notion of bringing light in unique ways into your outdoor spaces and found lots of modern and interesting ideas in these photos. Just like light can often be the most important element to an interior space, so can great lighting outdoors make an equally dramatic outdoor space. D-CRAIN is a design/build landscape company formerly of Big Red Sun.

101608dcrain-04.jpg What do you think about D-CRAIN's project photos? Do you find them to be inspirational for your own backyard rennovations? What do you find to be the most inspiring resource for your own outdoor spaces?

WOW! Love their work, wish I had the money I would turn them loose on my yard.

Beautiful and fun!

Can anyone identify the plant cascading over the planters in photo 23 on their website (3rd from the right, top row)?

I believe the plant is Dichondra (Silver Ponyfoot). We've added a few new photos to the website, so the order is a little different. We're happy for you to contact us if you have any questions at all!
