We posted last week about the inspiring recycling that the owners of the Austin upholstery business Spruce are doing to old furniture with good bones. While we love their innovative work, we also recognize that there other ways to freshen up a piece of furniture other than just new fabric or upholstery. More after the jump!
Inspiration: Jamie Ward Furniture

Jamie Ward, a student at Manchester Metropolitan University, scours his city to find those old, disgarded chairs, tables and pieces of furniture to create his one-of-a-kind, recycled furniture pieces. His work has a distinctive DIY quality to it, and a great message of there being value in even the smallest pieces of "trash". Jamie's work just might prove to inspire your own DIY furniture finds.
