What first caught our eye at Ranch 616 was the large, lit, rattlesnake sign shaped into the word "Ranch" and made out of what appears to be ductwork material. While it's up to the discretion of every viewer to decide whether or not their backyards need a similar incarnation of the rattler, we think there are plenty of ideas here that would work for many home's patios.

We loved the choice of seating here at Ranch 616. Elegant dining chairs complement more formal dining tables. Brightly patterned cushions adorn lightweight (and easily movable) dark brown wicker stools. A large, semi-circular concrete bench gives plenty of space for lots of dinner guests. We love how the dark colors of the chairs and stools give the space a more elegant look, while the material choices give the space texture and that feel of rustic Texas.

Simple but interesting details abound out on this patio. We loved the imbedded stars and horseshoes in the concrete and the circular, scale-like tiles facing the parking lot. The large, rusted planter filled with a variety of cactus and succulent helps distance the space from the street and brings in that Texas countryside.

Our favorite part: that retro blue paint on a part of the building. Just a small splash of color, but it gives a huge punch of boldness to the whole space and really sets the tone for a modern and simple outdoor design. A visit to this outdoor eating space just might give you some ideas for your own place!
