Look: Austin in Dwell!
Austin

090108dwell-01.jpg Have you picked up the October issue of Dwell yet? It features not one, but two stories focused on Austin's unique and inspiring home design and architecture! More after the jump:

090108dwell-02.jpg One story features local architect M.J. Neal (who you might remember as the architect of Kim and Paul's Austin Twin Peak house tour) and the ultra-affordable Farley Studio, a 2,430-square-foot live/work space he designed for the artist Kyle Farley in Cleburne, Texas. We bet you'll love this space's simple and streamlined design and we bet you'll be shocked when you learn just how much it cost to make. Check out the story online at Dwell.com.

For a truly inspiring take on the hands-on-approach to home remodel and design, you'll want to read the story of Blake Dollahite and how he transformed a run-down house into a hip Hyde Park bungalow. The photos and drawings will leave you inspired and aching to start remodeling your own house. You can also check out Blake's story on Dwell.com.

Anybody know how you can look at/purchase Kyle Farley's art? I love the painting of the oil derrick and I'd really love to see more of his work!

Yes, we will exhibit some of his art at our office in Hyde Park in a few weeks and you can also contact me and I will pass on your information to him.
