Austin, TX 78705
512-479-0638

Featuring eight guest rooms spread over a main cottage and a writer’s cottage, Carrington’s Bluff satisfies your need for a traditional Bed and Breakfast stay. Gardens, porches, floral bedspreads---you name it, Carrington’s Bluff has it.

Austin, TX 78705
866-472-6700

With a simple interior and charming details, the Austin Folk house is situated close to the University of Texas, making it a perfect spot for those looking for a nice place to stay close enough to explore the University area.

Austin, TX 78734
512-266-3413

Set a bit farther away than the other Bed and Breakfasts, Robin’s Nest offers you both seclusion and lakeside views. Offering more of a rustic, cabin-like feel, Robin’s Nest is still a close enough drive into Austin when you want to check out our local landmarks.

Not Bed and Breakfasts, but just as great:

081408bandb-04.jpg Hotel San Jose 1316 South Congress Avenue
Austin, Texas 78704
512-444-7322

Probably one of the coolest, hippest places you’ll ever see. The décor is essentially Austin: a good combination of modern and rustic, with a lot of regional plants thrown into the mix. Offering a variety of room sizes and rates, the Hotel San Jose is located on South Congress and within walking distance of many great sites.

081408bandb-05.jpg Austin Motel 1220 S. Congress Avenue
Austin, Texas 78704
512-441-1157

You may have seen its well known sign in my post: creative signs. The interior of this 70-year-old motel isn’t lacking in style. Also located on South Congress Avenue, it offers simple, yet stylish interiors steeped in South Austin history.

I've stayed at Robin's Nest on the lake. It was a great B&B experience with no other guests, appropriate attention from the owner, eclectic and thoughtfully decorated/landscaped and very reasonably priced.

best creamy scrambled eggs i've ever had delivered to my patio table!

Good post on b&bs in Austin, but yes, the hotel is my favorite. It doesn't have the hotel vibe to it at all though. Planning a trip to Austin soon, how do these places rate cost-wise?
