Another somewhat controversial furniture material, there’s just something wonderful about the combination of unfinished plywood and the bright, funky aesthetics of Austin. We love seeing all the creative ways plywood is used in home décor (especially ways that can be reproduced ourselves!) but we know not everyone feels the same way. I wonder who hates plywood - I live the texture of the end-grains, particularly of Baltic Birch plywood.

if i want furniture out of plywood...why pay for it...you can DIY for way less money. I used to work for a lumber company. Its cheap. Not the best quality but if you don't care....go for it.

I've got unfinished plywood and cinder blocks holding up my TV. I had a great stand but I actually love the look of the "dorm chic" much much better. Something about the dark hardwood floors, the industrial blocks with a great texture, and the clean look of fresh plywood....
It works.
