apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Sarabi Studio
Austin

062909sarabi-01.jpg As we transition from one month's theme here on Apartment Therapy to next month's theme (escapes and travel, if you were curious), we thought it fitting that we focus today on a local creative company that makes furniture that can transition seamlessly from indoor to outdoors...

062909sarabi-02.jpg We spotted the Sarabi Studio's furniture in the latest issue of Austin Monthly Home and were blown away by the simple yet stylish designs of their products. Sleek and modern yet still warm, we could see these pieces in more modern homes or even traditional styles. And the fact that most of these pieces can be indoor or out makes them even more valuable.

062909sarabi-03.jpg We really love their Linear line of benches, available in custom lengths. The pieces give a great graphic presence to a space and really underscore the latest trend of having geometric elements in interiors. If you're looking for an even bolder impact, many of Sarabi Studio's pieces can be industrially powder coated any color or texture you'd like.

062909sarabi-04.jpg You can find more information about Sarabi Studio's furniture on their website, or see them in person at the local stores Big Red Sun and Nest Modern.

First photo is incredible. I think I just had a moment of (unrealistic) desire to go into carpentry. Unrealistic because I envision myself being like Joey from Friends handling a power saw.

I didn't see the wood table in the third photo on the website. It'd be beautiful indoors.
