Wow I don't think anyone really does this besides people in the design business. Even then we have a manila folder for fabric swatches and paint chips. But I do like this idea, being an interior design graduate this would be nice to create a seperate small album for each client.

Marta Stewart had a more practical idea - put the paint name and number on the back side of the switch plates. You can find out years later what paint you've used. You the next tenants can...

Somehow I never thought I was imaginary...I do this for various projects, and it works really well for my home rehabilitation/improvement. I use a small notebook with "sheet protectors" to hold clippings, swatches, and images of my furniture.

I save a lot of clippings this way, for craft projects and decor. Actually, I have one for recipe cards, too...

Depending on the kind of album (and how big the pockets are) you could do this for a style tray too.
