Ever since Ligne Roset first began manufacturing upholstered furniture in 1936, they've become well known as an amazing resource of cutting edge furniture design. With their first and only concept store recently opened in downtown Austin, it seems the company is poised to continue pushing the envelope of gorgeous design with this new, design-forward showroom. Filled to the brim with fresh designs and bright colors, you can learn more about the world's only Ligne Roset boutique after the jump!
Located in the hip 2nd Street District of Downtown Austin (where you can also find the equally incredible Mercury Design Studio, Kirk Gallery and Bo Concept), the new Ligne Roset Boutique features a sleek selection of their more smaller-scale, design forward pieces that represent the brand and are created by some of the world's top designers. Featuring fresh whites, bright colors and cool shapes, we took our time exploring all their furniture pieces, accessories and even rugs.
Really representing the energy and urban feel of the downtown location, the Ligne Roset boutique is casual and inviting, and you can sense that they're trying to make all of their designs as accessible as possible with this new concept boutique. Truth be told, we were delightfully surprised at not only the fun designs we saw, but also the reasonable price tags that adorned some of the pieces. Another reason to love this store: no more waiting 90 days for an order. This store has a warehouse in town, and they try to keep everything in stock. If you buy something, there's a good chance you can take it home the same day!
Minimal and thoughtfully designed, the new Ligne Roset boutique feels at times more like a gallery than a store, and it was enjoyable viewing these furniture pieces as they really are: works of art. The new Ligne Roset Boutique serves up inspiration for residents of Austin, and all over the world!

The more I hear and see about Austin, the more I want to go check it out! Thanks for giving me another cool reason.

Interestingly enough, I have never thought of a bright yellow, orange and white color pallete. It's quite refreshing.

Linge Roset is my favorite modern furniture store. This show room looks amazing- now I should plan a trip to Austin...

Nice post - although I wouldn't consider Bo Concept anywhere near the same level as Ligne Roset.

This post does not explain how this "concept store" is different from the existing boutiques, namely the one in Chicago which looks pretty much the same as the photos above.

This store is different from other LR stores in a couple of ways. It is smaller and focuses on accessories and only the most popular pieces. This is how everything can be in stock. This is a new concept LR is trying out for cities not quite large enough to support a regular store.

I hate to reveal my ignorance, but could somebody give me the phonetics for pronouncing that name? I have only seen it in writing, and I don't know how to say it. (Thanks) (I love the furniture, but doubt I can ever afford it...)

I always pronounce it as ling-ye row-say
or something like that.
