We like the mix of luxe and thrift, like these book-based lamps. As in fashion, it’s important to mix some new / higher end pieces with your vintage to avoid looking like a Salvation Army store.The above candle votives are made from different pieces of vintage glassware stacked on top of each other. The lamps follow the same idea, stacking glass bowls with other ceramics and mixing them with new lamp shades. You could DIY this concept using glass specific glue. Sharyn Storrier Lyneham and Belinda Seper are the creative pair behind Edit. In Sharyn’s words Edit is ‘decoration without explanation’. We kind of love the idea of just doing something for the joy of it – like the re-upholstered chairs in yellow and black & white stripe. Pure fun.
