We’ve only just discovered Sydney based interior designer, author, TV personality and general creative person Shannon Fricke. Her mantra ‘Love your home, love your life’ is simple but makes perfect sense. Shannon has written 3 books on interior design that we’re just itching to flick through. We love the eclectic, relaxed mix of her interiors – they’re rooms you want to live in. The talented photographer Prue Ruscoe is responsible for the beautiful images inside ‘Sense of style: colour + space’, ‘Sense of style: colour’ and ‘Sense of style: space’. Seeing all those books on the stair treads and landing makes me feel uneasy. That just looks like such a hazard especially if there were a need to get up or down that stairway quickly. I just don't see that as good design.
