Daylesford, just an hour and a half away from Melbourne, is our favorite place for a weekend away with the girls. Great shopping, an amazing day spa and deliciously fresh food are what stands out for us. Should we have the opportunity to stay at The White House, that stay would be all about the accommodation.
The White House has a delightful mix of handmade linen and pillows with touches of industrial lighting with luxuries like a library, fireplace and a couple of claw foot baths. Built in the 1850’s this 2 bedroom miner’s cottage also has a separate garden bedroom and bathroom and sleeps a total of 6 people, perfect for a group weekend away. For us, it’s the little details that make The White House so appealing– complimentary handmade soaps and shampoos, hand painted wallpaper, art by Deborah Bowness, 1930's club armchairs and French doors are all special touches that make the difference between a nice place to stay and an amazing experience.

We can’t get enough of this house, over the past 2 days we’ve visited the website time and time again each time loving it just a little bit more. For more great pictures or information on staying visit The White House Daylesford website
