Intense Colour Inspiration
Melbourne

There’s nothing like a bit of drama on a Friday to make you really appreciate the weekend. So we thought we’d throw in a bit of intense colour inspiration from 60’s Australian interior designer Marion Hall Best – hopefully less stressful than those urgent 4.30pm emails. Although we’re not sure how calm you would feel living in some of these interiors. The one above is relatively tame. Check out the painted stripes on the ceiling!

Magnificent pics, so intense! This mauve child's bedroom is just as saturated: http://stylenorth.ca/blog/2008/08/colour-story-ellas-mauve-bedroom/

Wow. I'm not so sure I'd want any of it, but for being nearly 50 year old design it does look like it would fit in today. If you were into bleeding bulls, pink awning stripes, and blue polka dots...

if there was a picture on the dictionary to go with the word BAM!... these would be perfect examples.
