Look: Naked Communications Office
Sydney

070909naked01.jpgBy day we work in a standard office building complete with fluro lighting, cubicles and generic office furniture. As a result, we feel so inspired when we see office spaces that are creative, especially those that have so much character it almost feels like you’ve walked into someone’s home. Naked Communications office in Sydney is a perfect example of that.

070909naked02.jpgFilled with numerous clusters of vintage paintings, plates and mirrors and in a building with fantastic original features, “English manor meets the boys bachelor pad” was what they were aiming for. Imperial Nesting is the company behind this great office fit-out and the mix of furniture had us drooling, particularly the huge boardroom table. We can picture ourselves working at one of those glossy red desks gazing into the huge world map on the wall while on the phone. 070909naked03.jpg070909naked04.jpg070909naked05.jpg[images via Naked Communications and Imperial Nesting]

this is fantastic. I have to look at poorly hung motivational posters all day.

Cute! I want to know what's on the blue door... it looks like six locks, which is entertaining. ;)

mlleErica - me too... the worst part is there are 4 of each poster all hung one after another.

I am sorry - I work at home and really don't think an office should look like a home in most cases! But there are exceptions of course. I am dying to work in a more professional office environment, instead of the home environment......

That being said, their office do look fantastic, as a home.

In a world of MCM and sleek minimalism, it's marvellously transgressive. Kudos to them!
