While looking around for Melbourne based furniture designers, we came across Zuster. Run by four sisters of Dutch descent, Zuster furniture is designed and crafted in Australia and shows a strong Scandinavian influence in it’s clean lined, minimal approach...

The Stella meals table caught our eye with it’s egg beater like timber loop base. At first it seems rather quirky but on further inspection it has a simplicity to it that make it more a classic piece than oddball design. It also comes in a larger rectangular dining table and is available in a variety of finishes – Zuster will also do special requests for other timber/finishes.
Their new showroom is at 370 Swan St Richmond, Melbourne – can’t wait to get down there and check it out in person. They don’t list prices on their site, but we’re pretty sure they’d be ‘investment pieces’ – unlike Australia’s other favourite Scandinavian furniture company located near by.

My goodness I love that table, but I knew I'd seen it before?!

looks very knoll like to me...a cross between vignelli's paperclip and gehry's faceoff.
