Roundup: Aesop Showrooms around Victoria
Melbourne

051209aesop01.jpgIf you were to be so rude and open the medicine cabinet of an Australian women, no doubt you will find an Aesop product or two in there. Australian made botanically based skin, hair and body products are not only amazing to use but Aesop products are also lovely to look at. Equally impressive are their store fit-outs, with each store being completely different to any other. We’ve rounded up our favorites below the jump...

The top image and the ones below are from Aesop’s new Armadale store, designed by Paphitis and Ryan Russell

Aesop Flinders Lane in Melbourne is where we usually stop by, the fit out is made entirely of cardboard and was assembled in just five days by March Studio

Aesop South Yarra was designed by Claire Cousins

Claire Cousins also designed the fit-out of the Aesop Fitzroy Store

Aesop Doncaster was designed by Ryan Russell

Although not located in Melbourne, Aesop’s Adelaide store is amazing. We’re really impressed with the bottle covered ceiling and how the light seeps between them.

We really like how each store has its own personality and the only common theme throughout the stores are the products. San Francisco did a post recently on Aesop’s London store which is certainly worth a look. To find out more about Aesop products and store locations visit their website here.

The bottles are absolutely gorgeous! Though 35 bucks for 16 ounces of shampoo, to me, is a bit crazy! But for the bottle, I would probably do it! :)

@grafxnerd you could always buy one bottle, enjoy it and then refill with your old shampoo! Who'd know? I thought 28 was a lot. Wow.

I though the cardboard store in Melbourne was the most amazing shop fit out I'd ever seen [next to A Day On Earth in Prahran] - clearly I need to take the 10 hour drive to duck down to the shops in Adelaide more often!

I love to treat myself to one of the big bottles and then reuse the container with lables from debrandedhome.com

I have used many Aesop products and love not only the buying experience - the staff are BRILLIANT and the stores are a visual feast. I also appreciate that the scents and oils used are unusual and not synthetic.
