Sneak Peek: ‘Australia’ Interiors
Melbourne

211008-Australia-01.jpgThe latest issue of Australian Vogue Living has a feature on the home interior created for the up coming Baz Luhrmann film, ‘Australia’. We haven’t checked out the magazine yet, but will definitely have a look based on these images from the online sample. The sets were designed by Baz’s wife and collaborator Catherine Martin, who recently released a range of wallpaper and rugs. We’re pretty excited to see the movie which should be a visual feast based on their previous films.

Love the room but I'd have to try really hard to suspend disbelief if it's meant to be a scene from the Australian outback in WWII. Plus Nicole looks so wooden, even lying in bed.

Beautiful. I like that they're feminine but earthy and rustic. But WWII? No way.
