Let us present to you The Bookscreen, a lovely alternative to the more common variety bookcase room divider. Features include DIY potential, eco-friendly recycled materials, eye catching design, and complete privacy whilst reading your favourite hardback...
The design seen here is by Studio Sam and is available from Format Furniture. If you’re feeling handy, Sam says the Bookscreen’s covers are assembled using traditional book binding techniques – which sounds reproducible.
And what about all the pages you say? Look at Studio Sam’s Book Block Table – a side table created from the Bookscreen’s excess reading material.

Literally, wutf. That looks bizarre and hard to see what it even is, and like, completely tacky? I can't figure this out, but I would give it leeway to make sense eventually if it turns out to be something different than I think it looks like, but I bet the book-hoarders will hate this even more than keeping them near a toilet or bathtub!

Wow - i love it.
The only thing bizarre and hard to see is K T G's point.

I don't love it, but agree it's hard to understand K T G's point.

The one on the left is a bit rainbow flag for my taste but hey, it worked for Mork :)

Sorry. I guess my point is it looks awful but maybe I'm not seeing something crucial. It's hard to see and understand what's going on, what it is.

Ooooh!!! Now I see. I think. I was of K T G's perspective, but now I understand what's going on.
I like the concept of recycling dead book covers (and insides), but this result isn't attractive to me. I hope the makers find many customers (and use officially "dead" books) who enjoy this product!
