Yes it's (almost) that time again! Join us next Monday as we begin Week One of our 8 Week Fall Group Cure. We're giving everyone an extra week to get a hold of the AT book and get settled back at home after this glorious long weekend. And remember this year we're doing it a little differently and each site is hosting their own cure. This means all of the Southwest belongs to the LA Cure. Yes, that means you Phoenix and San Diego--don't be shy.
Info: The Cure posts will go up twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays (or sometimes Friday or Saturday), allowing for plenty of comment space and hand-holding. We will be pulling comments and pics each week so get a flickr account if you haven't already got one and tag your images with "apartmenttherapycurela" and post them in our Flickr Pools:

I want to do the cure but... where are we southerners supposed to go? Texas is the same time zone as Chicago, but it's so not the midwest. I suppose Texas could be considered southwest and go with LA, but east Texas is not really the southwest either, and the rest of the southern states definitely aren't. There needs to be an AT Dallas or Atlanta!

how serendipitous! just last nite i sat down and sketched out the plans for the next tackle on my cure, the hallway and the kitchen. i slapped on the first testers in the hallway & arranged for someone to come on the weekend & put up my chandelier in my kitchen. what fun!

Well, I'm really going to try and do more this cure. Started the last one and kind of fizzled out. So here I go again. By the way, I'm joining from New Mexico. Good luck to all!!!

Although I definately don't have alot of clutter or decorating issues, I have a TINY space so I think I'm going to join this time around. Since the smallest coolest contest I've been contemplating the question "what is your next project?" I haven't done anything yet and I want to actually accomplish what I had answered!
I'll put my list here to keep me motivated:
. Clean, clean, clean
. organize and maximize closet & overhead storage
. Provide more kitchen/book storage that can be concealed in my "bedroom area"
. Add an actual eating area
. Do something to create a landing strip
. Paint the bathroom

Welcome gallupgirl from NM, can't wait to see what you've got going on!
And Laura--omigosh, I think I could stand to do most of what's on your list. To keep it simple I will say:
*landing strip
*clean out and consolidate closets
*figure out living room(do I need a tv? what do I use this space for most, etc)

I am so in. Last year I had just moved out here and was sharing a two bedroom with 3 other people. Now my boyfriend and I have our own one bedroom, and I can't wait to start. Now I just have to get him excited as well!

Pssst! Let's see some other Phoenix names here... I know you're out there... this is our chance to start building community so we can eventually support our own site.
I'm always in.

laure, thanks for the welcome!!!
I'm on super slow internet, no DSL in my area yet. Boo :(
I'll see if I can set up a flicker account, haven't tried it yet but would love to share my progress with all of you. A LOT to do.
I'm in the process of selling my 33 room hotel here, so that's where all my energy has been for the last 8 years. Therefore my place has gone to crap!!

I am looking forward to doing the cure this time around. I have the book already and have browsed the site checking in on previous cures. I have alot of clutter issues I must admit, but I think the cure will help me transition from renovation burnout to living mode. It will also be a good reason for me to resume my blog, so count me in.

I can't wait! Do we need to sign up on Flickr before Monday?

After lurking for a few years I finally registered so I can do this cure with other people.
I'm normally an anti-social non joiner type person but I am also a half finishing type person. Hopefully joining will give me some accountability to actually get things in order for good.
Wende - I'm a Phoenix person (South Scottsdale actually) so there are at least two of us!

Count me in although strapped for time school/work. I'm still making my apartment a priority even if I just do small things. They should have a accumulative effect. I would love to see improvement by the holidays.
