I recently visited a friend's home with great style. She lives in a classic 20's bungalow, and has decorated her space with respect to the era. However, i couldn't help but notice one "pink elephant" in the room. Her extremely contemporary phone. Well, we found out that Pottery Barn offers a phone that blends the look of the past with the convenience of the future. The Grand Cordless Phone ($129) looks old, but is completely up to date. Expanding on their popular Grand Phone, this newer cordless version has push button dial, caller ID, instant redial and a three-line display. Plus it has a 900 megahertz analog for clear reception.

I saw this in the store and it looks fantastic. I wish they made a retro wall version of the phone. I'm sure I'm not alone in possessing the old wall phone jack in the kitchen that just looks silly with the cordless phone connected to it.
hey jackie-
I saw that they now have a wall version of the normal Grand phone, so I would suspect a wall version of the Cordless version will come soon...(fingers crossed!)
For those of us who only have cell phones, but want classic phone models for something other than decoration, try Phonelabs Dock'N'Talk. I plan on using it to forward my cell calls through my 80's Kermit The Frog phone. :)

a word to the wise. These phones are PB's most returned item. They are cheaply made and brake easily.

I'll second Ana on the quality of PB's phones. I returned mine twice because the wiring was faulty and staticy. Finally, I gave up and just asked for a refund.
