Be Vewy, Vewy Quiet: The Nabaztag Wi-Fi Smart Rabbit

111607_nabaztag.jpg

Up for adoption. Remember in the '90s when all the kids had those virtual pets that lived on a keychain? What were they called? The Tamagotchi!? Anyway, here's a virtual pet for both adults and kids alike--but with a twist. This little bunny called Nabaztag hops on your wi-fi and reads your news headlines, stocks, reports traffic and weather, and alerts you if you're waiting on an email or an IM.

In the kid department, this Nabaztag Smart Rabbit will yell at them to start doing their homework or when they've watched enough television. And just like a pet, this rabbit has a personality and moods (apparently, it will spew random ideas and say random things. Which kinda sounds a bit like Tourrette's actually). Which begs the question: Do rabbits dream of electric carrots?

I've had one of these for awhile now! He is precious, although for some reason has decided to do some "bunny-isms" at 3am. Thank goodness for the volume dial!
