Land's End Beach Towels: Coral, Orange and Yellow

050508_towel.jpgWe don't normally turn to Land's End for style inspiration, but these 2 towels hit the nail on the head for us. We've talked the combination of blue and white being perfect for summer and after running across these towels, we'll have to add coral, orange and yellow as our second favorite summer color combo:

The Framed Border Beach Towel is so much more sophisticated than our current beach towels and adds a really fun Hollywood Regency vibe. We kind of wish we had a pool just so we could have piles of these towels lying around for guests.

And the Striped Kids Beach Towel is our color inspiration for summer. It reminds us of gelato and the colors of Italian Sodas.

Great for towels, but not as a decorator palette, IMO. This would be antithetical to the 80/20 rule. Unless coral, orange, and yellow totalled 20% of 'splash'.

agreed, kimg, but that pattern on a duvet in an otherwise white room would be lovely! like sorbet! yum!

I have a Lands End towel that is probably 18 years old and other than being faded from the sun and washing, it is still super soft and not the least bit frayed.

I'll keep the splashes in check! Pun kind of intended!

My brother has a room with yellow walls with orange trim. He was not firm enough with his ex on the color combo. However, I could see the light pink on a wall with thin yellow and dark pink accent stripes. Maybe right next to each other, running around the room like a chair rail.
