AQHayon Bathtub

Luxurious showers are all the rage now, but still, they can't hold water when compared to the relaxing-calm waters of a proper bath (our best daydreams and reading occurs submerged each morn). Maxwell reported about the "wow" inducing bathroom collection from Spanish designer Jaime Hayon earlier in March. But we had to revisit Hayon's work after spying this baroque-a-licious bathtub for ArtQuitect in this month's issue of Elle Dcor UK.

Hayon was winner of the 2005 ELLE Decoration International Design Award for Best in Bathrooms. And one could see why, with this low slung, luxurious bathtub, complete with tray and vase. It's a tossup between this tub and the Porthole tub from Water Monopoly for most desirable bathtub on my wishlist.

Couldn't agree more: low-slung and luxurious + steaming H2O = Bathing Beauty Heaven.
