Welcome Rich! Rich wrote us about his first bathroom remodel.
This was my first bathroom remodel and it was quite a learning experience. I would have done a few things differently if given a second chance. My biggest gripe is the maintenance. It takes too much time to clean all the elements. My favorite items are the sconces and the faucet set.

Rich was also kind enough to supply us with his product list: Tile:Carrera Marble, Vanity:Decolav, Toilet: Eljer, Bathtub: American Standard, Medicine Cabinet: Robern, Hardware for bath/shower: Hans Grohe,
Faucet Set: Hans Grohe, Sconces: George Kovacs

hi rich,
what would you do differently for the elements - and which ones take too much time to clean?
i love the carrera marble! is it easy to keep the undermounted sink rim clean and free of mildew/soap buildup?
thanks for sharing!
Hi Jane,
Well for one thing, I would have selected the satin nickel over the brushed nickel for my finishes. Satin looks better with Carrera but brushed was the hot finish. Hard to tell before hand.
There is some buildup under the rim but it's not very visible unless your are at eye level.
I don't recommend Carrera. You have to keep all harsh cleaners far away. Windex the shower door by spraying the cloth and not the glass. I won't even bring Lime-Away into the bathroom! Separate sponge, cloth and bucket for each surface.
Let me know if you need more info!
