X Marks the Spot: X-Sink

021808_zarasink.jpgFans of Zara fashion and home accessories may recognize this sink from a recent catalogue, but this is the first time we've ever seen a sink with such a cool base. Reminiscent of the classic luggage rack, we love the interpretation of chrome with porcelain. But the real question is: Does anyone knew where this sink is from?

That's SO cool. And very LA -- it looks like a director's chair. (Of course, the form-follows-function crowd will think this is silly since a sink is not portable.)

Does anyone know where I can find the shelving - or something similar? I'm looking for a good size metal bookcase.

Thanks!

For a similar shelving system (without casters, unless someone is able to "hack" it) , Ikea's LAXVIK system has a nice look, and it's pretty cheap.

That's really cool! I'm a big fan of minimalistic. It probably wouldn't fall under this design, but try checking out copper sinks. Not only do they look real classy, but copper itself is an antimicrobial surface that is naturally self-renewing. Few metals have these properties of being both germ free and able to naturally repair themselves. Pretty and practical!
