Sasha's Easy Bathroom Makeover

080309wallpaper-3.jpgSasha's powder room initially had powder blue walls to match the light blue, textured wallpaper behind the sink. But a recent shopping trip at Home Depot uncovered a roll of red damask wallpaper--on clearance...

080309wallpaper-02.jpgAnd while Sasha liked her powder room in the "Before" picture, she tells us that it lacked the "oomph" that the room required. She decided to hang the wallpaper on the wall opposite the powder blue, textured wallpaper. It's a lust-worthy color combo that we'd like to see repeated. Plus, it works great in the small space of Sasha's powder room.

Whoa -

As much as I enjoy the new wallpaper pattern in and of itself - with the existing tin ceiling and the anaglyptic wallpaper on the wall behind the sink, there are now too many competing textures, patterns and colors in this little space.

I LOVE it. And while it may be too much for some . . . if you love it? That's all that is important!!

Before was better. After looks like a scary bordello. Who wants to be freaked out in a bathroom?

Wow! It gives it a nice kick. That's great that the sink and everything else fit in with both styles.

i think if you are going to go for pattern you really have to go for it. an accent wall doesn't do the trick -- it looks not fully committed. i think you should do the whole room in the same wallpaper :) it will look more complete.
