We are obsessed with Martha these days. We hate her, then we love her. We are riveted to her show(s), and then we are repulsed by her shameless self-marketing (as in, “great question, you can find the answer in my new book, out this week!”)
Now we are drawn to her furniture line for K-mart. We will admit to not seeing it in person, but if the glossy pics in our new Elledecor are any indication, Ms. Martha is back on our good list.
Her furniture is clean lined, simple and shocking priced. While we can’t imagine a $300.00 couch lasting too long, it looks great. The kitchen island ($229.00), and the bed ($299.99) both seem simple and elegant. We wonder if anyone has more first hand opinions?

In January 2005, K-Mart stores carried some tall white "pantry" cabinets that customers assembled themselves. I purchased three of them at that time -- each for $99.00. I purchased them in the K-mart in Annondale, VA and in Edgewater, MD. Now, I need to purchase 2 more to match them. Each cabinet has a hinged door, with 4 adjustable shelves inside. They stand about 4 inches off the floor, because of 4 legs. I presume Martha Stewart sponsored them. They are great! Is there another K-Mart that's selling them now, where two of them could be delivered to a K-Mart near me? Or is there another location where I can buy them?
