Today officially concludes our bedroom month coverage (yes, we know it's already March, but February is a short month, so we tacked on a couple extra days). My last bedroom related post is aimed at those folks who love to listen to music while slumbering or relaxing in the comfy confines of their bed. PB Teen is offering the
Tune-In Bed, a bed frame and headboard with built-in two 4" speakers that curve inward to create a listening soundspace, and a control panel and sleeve on the side of the headboard for your digital audio player to sit while you doze off to Yanni, Slayer, or Fergie. The bed comes in five colour options and is available all the way up to queen size, so this bed ain't just for the kids, if you're interested.
I don't really like the styling, but I love the idea of hiding the outlets inside the bedside table.

Regarding hiding the outlets in the bedside table drawer - love it! I'm horrible at remembering to plug in all my devices to re-charge, but, with this, I could plug in my MP3 player, my cell phone, digital camera battery charger, etc. in one convenient, hidden place. Bonus: I wouldn't have to stand on my head to get to the outlet so conveniently located behind my bed.
Doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to replicate in any bedside table with a drawer or shelf. Just mount a power strip with the desired number of outlets inside the drawer or back of the shelf, drill a little hole for the cord, and run the cord down the leg, attaching it with those little cord holders. No more visible cords, no more mess.
I may have just found myself a project for next weekend...
