With all the vacationing and staycationing at Apartment Therapy this month, we thought we'd show you how to create a luxury hotel room of your own right at home.
For your luxury hotel suite ensemble you'll need a few things to make your vacation day indoors perfect. We bookmarked some great finds from an online store called Linen Place.
You'll first want to pick up some down pillows and a duvet. There is a summer weight option down duvet if you or your mate run hot. Another item that will keep you in bed all day are 1000 thread count Egyptian sheets. Throwing in these black-out curtains from Target, time will seem irrelevant. We have the same curtains from Target and would never go back to everyday drapes.
For this staycation, we like to get the room nice and cold, order delivery from our favorite Indian restaurant and catch up on our Netflix.

Linen Place looks like a great new resource for me - Thanks!
Also - Where is the round bed from, or at least the hotel where the image is from?

For the money you would spend on the duvet, sheets, and black-out curtains, you could afford several nights in a hotel.

For the money you could spend on several nights in a hotel you could have a nice bedroom to enjoy all year round.

In response to jooly: a point, yes. Yet you fail to take into account that "several nights in a hotel" is a finite period of time. Meanwhile, purchasing the duvet, sheets and curtains-- that's forever. I think the point of this post is to create an "escape" within our own homes. Cost is secondary.

I purchased a high end down duvet, high thread count sheets, two of the Ritz Carlton down pillows and two heavy duty foam with down surround (to have options).
Best money spent, EVER.

I have to be honest, I would NEVER want my bedroom to resemble a hotel room. Ew.

If this post is "ugly"... well your comment, troll, is the ugly cherry on top. Kudos! Concise, yet oh so bitter. Nothing like unfounded, playground-style name calling. You should be proud of yourself!

I second SIU, I don't want my room to feel like a hotel. Even in the nicest hotels, I never feel "at home". Not a feeling I wish to have in my bedroom.
