If you're going be throwing a party, you're going to need a serving bowl. This classic "Century Footed Serving Bowl" is one that you will always be able to rely on. Created by renowned designer Eva Zeisel in 1952, it is now being re-released by Crate&Barrel. It's simple curves and timeless shape will suit any decor. It can also suit several purposes as well. During the holidays, fill it with some ornaments, and use it as a centerpiece or to spice up a side table. You can use it in the bathroom to hold extra towels or your jewelry or makeup. It can also be great to hold your keys, cellphone, spare change, on your landing strip.

This is beautiful! I love Eva Zeisel.

I've been eyeing the Classic Century collection for about a month now. Everytime I go to Crate n Barrel I find it and oggle it for about half an hour.
I have this bowl and love it! I wouldn't put my keys and phone in it though because this type of pottery chips easily. I love the sauce boat too and use it to serve nuts or olives in for cocktails. My other favorite CB Eva Zeisel piece is:

My husband and I registered for the Eva Zeisel collection from Crate and Barrel for our wedding. I loove it. I got to pick out the china because my husband couldn't understand why we needed it.. We also got the Havana hutch and buffet from C & B and they look SUPER sexy together!
Also, since Eva Zeisel just turned 100 years old...C&B is selling her coffee pot for a limited time. Check it out! http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=722&f=14208&q=eva&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1
