We are having a little love affair with the Mr. Clean Magic erasers. We got the tip from our equally obsessive cousin and while we are not usually fans of what feels like a marketing ploy, we found some on sale and decided to check them out. We tried them on our enamel cookware and were so impressed. The sponges dont scratch and the dull grime whitened up beautifully. Now we can't wait to make a mess. For what its worth, we cut the sponges in half and it really did feel like we were doubling the amount.

I like them too. I can remove marks that don't come off with anything else.
The downside: 1) they're expensive, 2) I don't like that they're disposable.
The 99 Cent Only Store has the Scotch Brite version of the Magic Eraser - it works as well as Mr. Clean and you save about 30%
The magic eraser was the only thing that could get the stains out of the tile in my 70 year old bathroom. It works wonders on scuffmarks on walls from chairs too. It's like microdermabrasion for your house!
I got some of these after hearing about them on this site and I haven't been able to get them to do any magic. Maybe I'm using them on the wrong things. For instance, didn't take the stain out of the sink, didn't take marks off the floor.
I had to use the Eraser on a client's hallway walls after movers left marks on them. The walls were painted in flat paint and as I rubbed the Eraser on the wall the paint came off as well. So be careful where you use them and how hard you rub. Otherwise, I have them in the apt. at all times. I love them!
We moved into an apartment where a kid had scribbled all over the walls in one room in crayon and pencil. The magic eraser took all of it off with relative ease.
guess what else the Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser can erase?
a Bic® pen went thru the washer then into the dryer. the washer was fine after this accident, but inside the dryer was covered with blobs of the pen-ink. the magic eraser got them all off, when other cleaners (such as Clorox® Clean-Up Cleaner with Bleach) did not.
Mr Clean's the answer too the grimy spots (from sweaty wrists and palms) that plague the ibook interior.
