Tivoli Radio: So Old, And Yet So New

We love our Tivoli Model One AM/FM Table Radio so much, we don't know what to do with ourselves.
When we got it (as a gift a few years back) we thought the old school look fit right in with our decor and used it in the kitchen to listen to jazz while we made dinner... which is impressive considering that the end-of-the-dial station is sometimes impossible to get. For such a small, compact radio, the sound and clarity are amazing. And with just three knobs, there is no fear that “electronics-challenged” folk like us wont get flustered. We recently realized that we could plug our i-pod into the back and now truly have the clearest sound without the bulk of a huge stereo and without spending rent.(they go for about $120.00)

I have had the satellite version for almost a year now and its definitely one of the best products I have ever bought.

It still has the same knobs as the Model One, but a couple more buttons and remote for the satellite radio part.

This is the coolest--- wow, really great. And the fact that I can plug an i-pod into the back is all the better. I am getting one this weekend and I like that their site lists local LA places to purchase one in person. -- John

The model one is mono. Model Two has the same simple lines and look - but it is stereo. You can add the model sub-woofer to it -- and it is a full fledged music system! We have the Model Two - and it is not just a kitchen radio for us -- but with the i-pod, that is our only music system! The sound is great. They make it in furniture grade wood - and have different kinds of wood to choose from to go with your decor. I have it in the black/silver combo and love the way it looks sitting in my black cubitec shelf (dwr).
