At first glance, the standout piece in the issue is the feature on interior designer Kathryn Ireland's Ojai home (not to be confused with former Sports Illustrated model Kathy Ireland - although I guess she's a designer as well since she has a line of furnishings too?) We love how she's injected each room with some jolt of color, especially the guest room with that little sleeping nook and the green chair! I really love the colors that are used here, as well as the multi cultural ethnic flavor. Living in an apartment where the walls *must* remain eggshell white, I'm always look for splashes of color to liven things up. I will definitely use these photos as inspiration for my "design tray"
