The March 2008 issue of House Beautiful is the Spring Color Issue. At first glance, the standout piece in the issue is the feature on interior designer Kathryn Ireland's Ojai home (not to be confused with former Sports Illustrated model Kathy Ireland - although I guess she's a designer as well since she has a line of furnishings too?) It's gorgeous. Spanish Rustic meets Moroccan with bold and bright accents...
We love how she's injected each room with some jolt of color, especially the guest room with that little sleeping nook and the green chair! House Beautiful has a full slideshow (will definitely warm you up from these grey days we've been having) on their website and you can read the entire article too. Check out the rest of the issue on newsstands now. To see more of Kathryn's work, her website is here.

mad loved it! that quilt from the "new line" is the same pattern as featured on a domino cover in like '06..? the woman with the eclectic studio and moroccan rooftop patio.

I really love the colors that are used here, as well as the multi cultural ethnic flavor. Living in an apartment where the walls *must* remain eggshell white, I'm always look for splashes of color to liven things up. I will definitely use these photos as inspiration for my "design tray"
