060508oathome3.jpg060508oathome4.jpgAmy had help from decorators Alexandra Loew and Lauren Soloff from the frim Desk of Lola. They helped encourage her to take some fun risks like "...black walls and an 84 inch sofa." Other features in the space are that she used gold mesh curtains in the living room and a full length mirror to reflect light. She also used glass and Lucite tables that don't take up as much visual space and add shine. She also doesn't have a lot of doors and instead has a lot of open archways in between the main spaces. She used the same flooring throughout as well. 060508oathome5.jpg060508oathome6.jpgCheck out more pics and tips here, as well as in the Summer 2008 issue of O at Home magazine on newsstands now.

What's funny is that it DOES look like a hotel -- one of those Old World-style ones like the Carlyle.

Wow - Glamorous and cozy at the same time...
I've never considered the Navy/Blue/Lavender/Gold/White color scheme before in the LR, but it totally works for me!

Considering she's the head of A Squared, the marketing firm that worked on the Project RED thing, which also had a big Oprah tie-in, the story on her apt. isn't based on what a swell pad it is. It looks nice, but decorated.
