apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Blogging Dwell Magazine: May 07'

04_07dwellcover.jpg Is it a coincidence that this month's cover of Dwell focuses on "Smaller is Smarter? homes under 1000 square feet" or that the cover's darling couple is our very own Coolest Smallest 2006 winners David and Im? We're not sure if it is a coincidence or purposeful but it fits so nicely with what we're doing here at Apartment Therapy this month we can't help but note: Is it the Chicken or The Egg syndrome? It's encouraging to us to think we are helping to shape the future of print as much as we are dedicated to sharing good [small] living to all of you.

back to the task at hand...Dwell this month is ever so fun with it's focus on small living , Karim Rashid's reviews on plastic chairs, a great small living situation from the 50's called "Home in a Cube" by Ken Isaacs and wife Jo, and an interesting perspective on Paris, France and the Notion of Change.. Dwell's May issue is on newsstands now.

i loooooove their apartment, but i was disappointed in the photos the Dwell featured. you cant really get a sense of how tall the space is, or how impressive that wall of storage is. you also cant see the living room space, which i think looks really lived-in. i loved the photos that they (or did AT take them?) have from last year's Smallest Coolest contest.
