HOME magazine's May 2007 issue is all about makeovers. They covered that theme all the way through, including a new logo and look for the magazine. Inside there are also some new additions, including the "mini makeover" and "your home" sections, which focus on quick-switch ideas. A strong West Coast aesthetic also came through, via two of the main feature homes...
(pg 80) Tinsel Town Sequel: Don Beck and Steve Stamstad renovated a 50's home. They kept a uniform palette of colors, and figured out a way to combine both men's eclectic styles.
(pg100) West Coast Wow!: This feature was on a new seaside home that is tailored around the surf lifestyle of owners Leo and Molly Nordine. We love all the warm mahogany and ironwood.
Other pages of note:
(pg 109) Ideas for textured surfaces for the kitchen.
(pg 95) Candice Olson's redesigns a kitchen in blue/grey tones.
(pg 30) Two fun looks using the same bathroom
The May 2007 Home issue is available at newstands now.
What the heck is a "West Coast aesthetic"???

I miss the old logo. The new logo is easy to lose on a newstand. Are they going "dwell"-ish?
